The series includes correspondence with suppliers and funders, invoices and receipts, licenses and budgets, and brochures and advertisements. There are also some photographs. Companies include Thomas Cook, WH Smiths, Boots the Chemist, and Cadbury-Fry Ltd.

These document stations occupied, data, bearings, field sketches, and often include catalogues of specimens, localities, and photographs.
